Senior Spotlight: Anu Thomas
A 3.9 student at Lutheran North, Anu Thomas earned a 1450 on the SAT. Her future plans include attending University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and studying Computer Science. She attended St. Peter Macomb for grade school and St. John Vianney is her home congregation.
Anu has participated in National Honor Society, Volleyball, Track & Field, Art, EXAMPLE and HOSA while at Lutheran North. In addition to outstanding academic achievements at Lutheran North, Anu earned Salutatorian, National Honors Society Recording Secretary, Academic Excellence Award, 2nd Place at HOSA States in Biomedical Laboratory Science Event and Future Docs.
When asked Who influenced you the most in your academic career, Anu answered:
Mrs. Nicole Mandziara, my 11th and 12th grade teacher and HOSA Advisor has influenced me the most in my Academic career. She has been such a positive female role model for me and has always pushed me to do my best in and out of the classroom.
