HIGH STANDARDS FOR ALL STUDENTS
The learning goals in our environment go beyond college acceptance, university scholarship, or even just good grades on a transcript. Our students are learning to prepare for the next step in life.
Our curriculum offers a challenging workload and development opportunities based on student needs. Ready for Honors or AP courses? National Honor Society? What about vocational or college courses? Lutheran North has your student covered!
Our approach, our philosophy is grounded in God's Word and that manifests itself in so many valuable ways. We are different than public schools and that difference matters in a student's present, future, and eternity. Now more than ever, young men and women need an education that leads in truth so they may learn for life.
Learning is a priority For all
Accreditation is an internal and external review process that identifies strategies for building the best possible educational program for learners.
Accreditation through NLSA (National Lutheran School Accreditation) and MANS (Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools) means that the teachers and administrators at Lutheran North have met high standards and are actively engaged in school improvement.
Our faculty continues to learn, steadfastly committed to professional development. All members of our school community strive to continue learning and improving the education Lutheran North students receive.

STUDENT ACCOMMODATIONS
We’ve partnered with LSEM (Lutheran Special Education Ministries) to provide expertise and support for students with learning disabilities. For diagnosed students, there can’t be a “one size fits all” approach. These students receive aid through a personal accommodation plan and direct LSEM consultant support during a Structured Learning class.
We recognize and appreciate that each of our students is a unique child of God and may require a different approach and/or pace to learn. Together, we can build brighter futures for our students with specialized learning needs.

TEACHING WITH TECHNOLOGY
Technology can be a distraction in the classroom. At the same time, students need to be technologically prepared to thrive in the future. We strive to use technology as a tool to help our students engage with educational content and learn to collaborate when appropriate. At Lutheran North, we offer the following:
Technology-Rich Media Center and Classrooms
Promethean Boards
Microsoft Surface Pro Tablets
Office 365 Accounts for Students
Collaborative Adjustable Seating
WHEN THE SCHOOL DAY ENDS, LEARNING CONTINUES
At Lutheran North, Mustangs have numerous opportunities to get involved. These activities allow them to explore interests and create broader perspectives. Students who participate in after-school activities report improved academic performance, more confidence, and higher academic aspirations. Through this involvement, students gain essential life skills: goal setting, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and leadership.
