MUSTANG FOR A DAY INFORMATION

All of us at Lutheran North are so excited to welcome you the day of your visit. Here is some important information to help get you prepared for the day.

WHAT TO WEAR: Our “uniform” is Lutheran North spiritwear and dress pants or non-blue jeans. This is what we encourage our Mustangs to wear. However, we do allow our students to dress up if they so choose. Sweaters, dress shirts, polo shirts, dresses and skirts are absolutely allowed. Dress shorts are also allowed.

PARKING: We do have assigned student parking so when you arrive, please park in spot 109, 110, 161 or 162 in front of the school. If those spots are occupied, please park in one of the handicap parking spots.

ARRIVAL: Please have your son or daughter check in to the school office around 7:45am the morning of their shadow day. The closest entrance to the school office is door #0 behind the flagpoles. The school office will be down the hallway to the left and it will be on your left-hand side. Someone from our Admissions team will be there to welcome you to Lutheran North.

LUNCH: We will provide lunch for your future Mustang the day of their visit. If they have allergies or specific dietary needs, you may want to pack them a lunch just to be safe.

WHAT TO BRING: Most of our students have a study hall built into their schedule or there may be quizzes or tests on the day that your child shadows so there may be some downtime throughout the day. We do not allow cell phones in our classrooms, so it is a good idea to bring a book to read or homework to work on to help pass the time.

PICK UP: M-TH school dismisses at 3:10pm so we encourage pick up to be anywhere between 2:45pm-3pm. On Fridays, school dismisses at 2:30pm so pick up should be anywhere between 2:00pm – 2:15pm. Please enter through door #0 and come to the school office to pick up your shadow student.
