Please join us in congratulating our outstanding honorees:

Salutatorians:

• Nathan Vani – St. Peter Macomb
Each of these students has worked tirelessly throughout their high school journey to achieve this honor. They have set an incredible example for their peers, consistently striving for academic excellence while upholding the values that define our school community.
We are excited to see where their paths will lead and how they will continue to shine as they take their next steps in life. Lutheran North is honored to have been part of their story, and we know their futures are bright.
Patrick Malinowski is a member of Evident Church. He attended elementary and middle school at Trinity Utica. He volunteers occasionally at Trinity at their SSS soup kitchen. He has enjoyed joining the Bowling Club all four years of his time at Lutheran High North. He plans on attending Lawrence Technological University to major in Mechanical Engineering.
Patrick’s experience was special because Lutheran High North truly fulfilled their mission statement. LHN and its teachers provide students with an excellent education not only in math, science, and English, but also in theology. LHN has strongly impacted Patrick’s faith and walk with Christ for the better.
Eliana Saylor and her family attend Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica where she often volunteers for VBS, charity sales, and the church nursery. Eliana came to Lutheran High North after attending Trinity Utica for elementary school. Throughout her four years at Lutheran High North, she has been a part of the Varsity Women’s Soccer team and the National Honor Society. In addition to her involvement at school, she helped referee youth soccer games. In the fall, she plans to attend Michigan State University to pursue a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Eliana’s Lutheran North experience was special because of both the academic and extracurricular activities. The environment in these activities shaped her into the person she is today. She has learned perseverance, persistence, dedication, discipline, and responsibility; all of which will help her live a God-pleasing life.
Mateus Brajak is a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was involved in many activities at Lutheran North such as the golf, soccer, and track teams as well as an officer in the National Honor Society. He came to LHN from Heritage Jr. High School in Sterling Heights. He has volunteered with the Macomb Buddy Soccer League and enjoyed refereeing youth soccer matches for the Lutheran grade schools in the surrounding area. In the fall, he plans on attending the University of Michigan and major in Aerospace Engineering.
His Lutheran North experience was made special because of friends, family, teachers, and the overall supporting environment of LHN. Through the support of all these people he was able to achieve his goals and learned how to live a Christ centered life both in the present and in the years to come.
Nathan Vani is a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Macomb which he attended from preschool until eighth grade. He spent all four years of high school at Lutheran North where he played soccer and baseball and was a member of the National Honors Society. Nathan plans on attending Michigan State University and being a part of their Honors College. Here, he will major in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry to pursue a career in the medical field.
Nathan’s Lutheran North experience was special because of the Christian environment encouraged throughout the school. Because of the support from teachers and other students, he was able to grow academically and in his faith in Christ. He has learned that above all, maintaining a strong connection with Jesus will help you to persevere through life’s hardships.
