A 4.0 student at Lutheran North, Tyler Dempsey earned a 1310 on the SAT. His future plans include attending Clemson University and studying Business. He attended Trinity Utica for grade school and Trinity Utica is his home congregation.
When asked Who influenced you the most in your academic career, Tyler answered:
My parents, Tom and Christie Dempsey, have influenced me the most by always supporting me in school and providing me with a great Chrisitan education. They have given me the opportunities and taught me skills to succeed in life, such as hard work, dedication, and organizational skills.

SPECIAL AWARDS AND HONORS:
National Honor Society member, earned All Catholic Award in Varsity Hockey, captain of the Bishop Foley United Varsity Hockey Team, and All-Academic.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Tyler volunteered for MCREST where he served the homeless at Trinity Lutheran in Utica, volunteered at Vacation Bible School through St. Peter Macomb, and also volunteered for the Salvation Army as a bell ringer.
