Hail Cesar! Lutheran North QB shines in victory over South Lake

Eddie Cesar accounted for six touchdowns in Lutheran North’s season-opening football victory over South Lake.
The senior quarterback passed for four scores and ran for two as the Mustangs defeated the Cavaliers 56-6 in a non-league game Thursday night.
Cesar started the Macomb Township team’s barrage with a two-yard run in the first quarter, and his 33-yard run in the second gave Lutheran North a 35-0 lead.
Ian Ruatto caught a 51-yard touchdown pass from Cesar in the second quarter. Cesar also hooked up with Hudson Macdonald from 16 yards out in the first quarter, and Tommy Valenti (25 yards) and Dominic Carroll (34).
Cesar completed five of five passes for 131 yards. He carried five times for 63 yards.
Ruatto had two receptions for 56 yards.
