Winter Sports Tryout Update

Winter Sports Update

As we wait on the final approval from the MDHHS and MHSAA to begin our winter season, we wanted to update you on potential tryout dates.  Winter sports were originally scheduled to begin in November and since the pause, we have been patiently waiting for the green light to begin our winter season.  The current “pause” order ends on 1/15/2021, which would allow winter sports to begin on 1/16/2021.  At this time, we are attempting to finalize tryout dates and times that would fall over the Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend.   This would include the possibility of tryouts beginning on 1/16/21.  Given the unique situation we are in, we need to maximize practice time before the beginning of competition, which for some of our teams will begin on 1/23/21.  Once we have finalized the dates and times for each team’s tryout, we will reach out with an update.  Please look for another constant contact, and updates from your coach in the near future.

If you have an extenuating circumstance that would make it impossible to attend tryouts, please email Athletic Director, Jessica Stange.
