Update from The Superintendent

Dear Lutheran North Parents:

Yesterday’s announcement from Governor Whitmer and the MDHHS has extended the “pause” on high school in-person instruction and high school sports through December 20th.   With this announcement, on-line classes will continue as currently scheduled until at least December 18th. We are also anticipating that remote instruction may continue after the Christmas break.  We will be monitoring that direction and providing more details as they develop.

As I shared with you before Thanksgiving, in addition to the November 10% discount, since the scheduled school days for this month will be completely online, the LHSA will be applying a 10% discount to the monthly tuition bill for December.  Our office is currently working through the tuition adjustments and the discounts will be applied and credited against your January 2021 bill.  Please be advised that the re-enrollment (registration) fee is charged in January.

As our school year continues, we continually thank you for being patient with us as we encounter all the changes.  As much as all this challenges us, we must continue to press on continually determined to keep a safe and positive climate in our schools.  Although we would have loved returning to school these days before Christmas break, once again, our comfort and peace rests securely in the Advent Promise:  The Savior of the world is here and nothing can dampen the joy of this Gospel message!

God’s Peace!
