Update from The Superintendent
As we approach Thanksgiving week, I am thankful to all of our families for showing patience through a very challenging first quarter of school. I want to commend our faculty, staff, and administrators for all they have done and are doing in the ongoing effort of face to face learning. Although we have all gone through much, I have seen some inspiring things happening in each of our three schools.
However, we have encountered yet another circumstance to absorb. As much as it is not completely unexpected, the announcement made by Governor Whitmer this evening to close high schools beginning Wednesday (11/18) necessitates another change to our current program.
As a result of the modified restrictions announced this evening, our schools must now extend or begin full remote learning on Wednesday. The remote learning period will continue for the next three weeks. Your principal will share details regarding the upcoming schedule that are specific to your school (MORE DETAILS AVAILABLE HERE).
As soon as it is possible, our plan is to return to face to face learning with our safety protocols in place. My prayer is that through all this your family remains healthy; we are truly blessed by the hand of a loving God! There is nothing that will stop or slow down our sharing of the Gospel message. We are loved by Him, and we have been saved by Him. Rejoice and give thanks!
