Fosse Dancing
Theatre is just one of the many clubs that have had to “rethink” the way they do things due to the MI Safe Start protocols put in place. Our theatre program typically puts on 2 BIG productions each school year.
In lieu of these large productions, Mrs. Freeman has created master classes where our theatre students are learning new skills and practicing what they have learned - dancing, acting, singing, stage combat, set design, and applying these to musical theatre and dance programs for colleges and beyond.
Last week the group learned about the Dance Style of Bob Fosse. Fosse's unique jazz dance style was stylish and easily recognized. Three of his dance trademarks included turned-in knees, sideways shuffling, and rolled shoulders.
