Lutheran North vs. Riverview Gabriel Richard | Catholic League Game of the Week

It’s week five of the high school football season and our Catholic League Football Game of the Week features two teams battling at the top of the Intersectional I Division standings. Tune in this Friday as Riverview Gabriel Richard hosts Lutheran North.
Riverview Gabriel Richard is seeking a third consecutive appearance in the MHSAA playoffs and has made solid progress to achieve that goal with their 3-1 start. The Pioneers have wins over Grosse Isle, Clio, and University Liggett with their only blemish coming against Cranbrook in Week 3. Lutheran North checks in at 2-2 with wins over Livonia Clarenceville and Cabrini.
Dual-threat QB Angelo Basilisco has led the way for Lutheran North collecting 734 yards and 7 touchdowns through the air and 211 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground thus far. The defense has been the strength for Gabriel Richard headlined by Ethan Mehall (24 total tackles) and Carson Sollars (33 total tackles).
