The purpose of HOSA is to educate students in the area of health science and prepare students to successfully pursue a health-related career.
HOSA exists to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill, and leadership development of high school, post-secondary, and middle school students interested in healthcare.
The mission of HOSA is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.
Who is eligible to participate? All Lutheran North students who are interested in a health-related professions are welcome to join!
What happens at the meetings: The group has guest speakers from various areas of health care (doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, etc.) that come in to speak about their experience. There are also health-related lessons and activities to help students prepare for competition.
Location/frequency of your events - twice a month 1st semester, and once a month 2nd semester
