The person who influenced me the most in my academic career is my older sister, Elizabeth Hale. She set an example for me by always striving to reach her goals in whatever she was doing and by not being too afraid to try. She has always been my number one supporter in whatever I do, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her as a role model.
