Senior Spotlight: Julia Joseph
A 3.9 student at Lutheran North, Julia Joseph earned a 1420 on the SAT. Her future plans include attending University of Michigan and studying Astrophysics. She attended Seneca for grade school and transferred to Lutheran North after one year at Dakota.
When asked Who influenced you the most in your academic career, Julia answered:
My junior year Physics teacher, Mr. Dumar. He did a lab with us that made me realize that I wanted to go into astrophysics which allowed me to set a goal for my future. Also, my parents have influenced me most by always supporting me.

WHAT MADE YOUR LUTHERAN NORTH EXPERIENCE SPECIAL?
Transferring to Lutheran North I was accepted here with so much love from all the teachers and students. Being incorporated so quickly into a new and loving environment made Lutheran North so special to me.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR FUTURE MUSTANGS?
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and talk to the people around you because everyone is new and looking for friends. Try out something new and join a club that you have been thinking about!
WHICH TEACHER OR STAFF MEMBER AT LUTHERAN NORTH MADE A NOTABLY POSITIVE IMPACT ON YOU?
Mr. Dumar in his physics class showed us a lab with Jupiter and its moons which made me realize that I want to go into astrophysics as my major. Also, Mr. Brandt created such an amazing classroom environment that I look forward to going to every day!
