Senior Spotlight: Alexander Smith
A 3.9+ student at Lutheran North, Alexander Smith earned a 1370 on the SAT. His future plans include attending Michigan State University - East Lansing and studying Finance. He attended Immanuel Macomb for grade school and Immanuel Macomb is his home congregation.
Alex has participated in National Honor Society, Golf and Soccer while at Lutheran North. In addition to outstanding academic achievements at Lutheran North, Alex also earned his varsity letters in soccer and golf, earned All-Academic Catholic League for soccer, and All District for soccer. Alex has also served his community through the Soccer Buddies program where he played with and coached special needs children. He also participated in the Immanuel Lutheran bike repair program for Detroit are children. Alex also volunteers for Vacation Bible School.
When asked Who influenced you the most in your academic career, Alex answered:
Melissa Smith, my mom. She has always set a good example for me and pushed me to do my best.
