Concordia University Wisconsin is pleased to honor our 2022 inductees into the William C. Ackmann Memorial Athletic Hall of Fame.

Each year, Concordia University Wisconsin celebrates our most accomplished athletes by inducting exceptional CUW faculty, staff, students or alumni into the Hall of Fame for their contributions to CUW Athletics Department. Congratulations to this year’s honorees, who will be inducted officially in a pre-game ceremony on October 22.

Garrett Wenzelburger

Class of 2015 | Football and Basketball

Wenzelburger was a four-year starter for the CUW football team as wide receiver, during which time he earned first-team all-conference honors in three consecutive seasons (2012-14). During his career, Wenzelburger caught 251 receptions—a program record—totaling 3,169 yards and 38 touchdowns. He set Falcon records for longest pass reception (85 yards in 2012) and single-game receiving yards (239 yards in 2014). He helped the Falcons post a perfect 8-0 record in the Northern Athletic Conference during the 2013 season and was a member of the men’s basketball program for three seasons.
