Senior Spotlight: Julia Zauel
A 4.0+ student at Lutheran North, Julia Zauel earned a 29 on the ACT. Her future plans include attending Hope College, Holland and studying Nursing with a minor in Psychology. Julia will be continuing her basketball career at Hope College as well. She attended St. Peter Macomb for grade school and St. Peter Macomb is her home congregation.
Julia has participated in National Honor Society, EXAMPLE, basketball, softball and golf while at Lutheran North. In addition to outstanding academic achievements at Lutheran North, Julia earned Co-Salutatorian, All Academic (2x), All League (3x), All District, All Region, Golf Team State Champion, Scholastic All Catholic (2x).
When asked Who influenced you the most in your academic career, Julia answered:
My sisters, Natalie and Rachel. I look up to them and they have shaped me into the person I am, inside and outside the classroom. I see how hard they both worked and where it got them. Their successes have pushed me to work hard in school. If I struggle with an assignment, they help me and I grow from it. I would not be here today without them.

WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT YOUR TIME AT LUTHERAN NORTH?
I will miss the different sports and the players on each team. I will also miss the sports games, drama productions, and club activities.
