Grade School Memories - Trinity Utica

We’re so very grateful to each of the families, schools, and educators that have prepared students to attend Lutheran North: Christian, homeschool, private, and public alike. Last week, we celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week, and today, with the help of the Class of 2021, we’re highlighting a couple favorite memories and teachers from our local Lutheran grade schools. Please take a moment to look for a few familiar faces or fond memories!
The choir teacher, Mrs. Termini, made the biggest impact on me because she helped me to understand my faith and my relationship with God.

Mr. Heck was my 5th grade teacher and he made a big impact on me because he was my track and cross country coach and I remember getting 3rd at states and him being there.

My favorite teacher was Rachel Gehm. She was the dance teacher we had for our group called Faith in Motion. She gave me a lot of opportunities to grow as a person and a dancer and she introduced me to musical theatre music.

Mrs. Delmotte made the biggest impact on my grade school experience because she was the first teacher I had at Trinity since I switched from a public school in 4th grade and she really made me feel welcome.

My 6th grade teacher who no longer works there has played a huge roll in my life. I still visit her sometimes. She has showed me many things about the faith and has good insight.
