Historical Pumpkin Patch (2nd Annual)
The APUSH students got into the Halloween Spirit this week with their latest assignment...a historical pumpkin patch. They had to depict a historical event or significant figure in any way on a pumpkin. Some were carved, others painted, and some interestingly adorned with things found around the house. They had to choose something that was within the parameters of what the class has studied so far, which is from 1491 to James Monroe's presidency that ended in 1825. They also wrote a paper that explained the background information of the person or event and more importantly explained the impact that person/event had on history.
