Lutheran North was perfect.

Julia Valenti made 18 kills and Kaylee Lathrop had 23 assists as the host Mustangs defeated Riverview Gabriel Richard 25-10, 25-20, 25-12 Wednesday night to complete a 7-0 run through the Catholic League AA Division. Coach Jessica Lancaster’s team did not lose a set in conference play.

Megan Marshall had 11 digs, eight receptions, five assists and three kills, and Laurel Barno served four aces.

The Catholic League tournament begins with quarterfinals on Monday. Semifinals are Wednesday and the championship match on Oct. 26.
