HOMECOMING 2021 RECAP
HOMECOMING 2021! What a fun-filled week it was for our Mustangs!! Students showed off their school spirit by dressing up for the following spirit days:
Monday: Monochromatic Day
Tuesday: Holiday Day
Wednesday: Comfy Cozy Day
Thursday: Country vs. Country Club Day
Friday: Class Color Day
Excitement was in the air Friday as we kicked off the Homecoming festivities with an action-packed pep assembly! Students from each of the four grades competed in events such as a donut eating contest (one of which was filled with ketchup!), tug-of-war, and a relay where students had to dress a baby doll the quickest.
The powderpuff games led to an overall win for the Seniors, which, combined with the points from the each of the spirit days and the pep assembly, made them the proud owners of the Mustang Spirit Jug!
Varsity Soccer competed against Summit Academy; and though Summit eventually took the win, we couldn’t be more proud of the boys for their incredible efforts!
Our Varsity Football team fought valiantly to gain an impressive Homecoming victory over Cranbrook! During half-time, we crowned seniors Mitchell Alter and Laurel Barno as Homecoming King and Queen. For a detailed list of the rest of our Homecoming Court, click here.
